about
Mystical electro-acoustic version of the classic American spiritual, "Motherless Child," featuring epic vocal harmonies from members of Los Angeles duo, Lovespirals, and San Francisco band, Karmacoda. Originally recorded by Lovespirals for their 2007 album, 'Long Way From Home,' then completely reworked by Karmacoda, for the 'Motherless Child EP' released by Lovespirals in 2008. This song was featured in the Chillcast Top 20 of 2007, alongside the Karmacoda original, "Turn". In 2007 the band were also interviewed for a 1 hour Chillcast Karmacoda Feature.

"Motherless Child - Karmacoda VS Lovespirals Mix"
Long way, long way, from home, from home…
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
A long, long ways from home
A long, long way from home
Sometimes I feel like I’m almost gone
Sometimes I feel like I’m almost gone
Sometimes I feel like I’m almost gone
A long way from home
A long, long way from home
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like I’m almost gone
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
A long way from home
A long, long way from home
True believer, a long way from home
A long, long way from my home
Long, long way from my home
